Once a text has been copy edited, proofreading is essential before publishing. This service focuses on mechanical issues such as correcting grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors, in addition to verb tense consistency, tone, formatting, and style guide.
Copy Editing
This includes proofreading in addition to: checking for clarity of ideas and argument, appropriateness for audience, fact checking, plus additional feedback as needed.
Content Editing
Also known as Substantive Editing, in addition to proofreading and copyediting, this service focuses on larger issues such as restructuring, reorganizing, and rewriting vague, unclear, or confusing sentences; possibly rearranging paragraphs and cutting out unecessary information; offers more extensive feedback, and includes a follow up consultation to address any questions you may have.
SEO Editing
In addition to proofreading, this service will improve web copy such as blog posts, articles, landing pages, etc. in order to drive more traffic to your website by incorporating keywords, correcting posts and image tags, and reviewing headings.
